Welcome to Kokopelli Creations! Inside you will find some of the most unique pieces of artwork the Southwest has to offer. We hope you will enjoy these pieces as much as we did in discovering them! Thank you for visiting our web site. We greatly appreciate your continued support and patronage!
Sincerely, Charisse and Rita Harlien
|Hi! My name is Charisse Harlien, and I welcome you to our new website!
Kokopelli Creations evolved from a love and deep appreciation for the art of the Southwest that I acquired growing up in El Paso, Texas. I invited my mother and close friend, Rita Harlien, to join me. My vision was to go into a business where we would share these treasures with others. Our art gallery opened last year in October in Carrollton, Texas and now we are launching our web site.
Kokopelli Creations features not only the artwork of the region (pottery, Native American products, tapestries, jewelry, etc.) but also Southwest artisans who produce beautiful items which do not necessarily carry traditional Southwest themes. Most of our art pieces are from far west Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. Others come from Native American reservations throughout the US, Colorado, California and Mexico.
We personally choose the items we feature from extensive travels throughout the region. We attend arts festivals, visit galleries and hear by word-of-mouth leads to remarkable artistic achievements that later show up in our gallery. Let us know if there is something special you're looking for, and we'll try to help you find it. Remember also, the vast majority of our items are one-of-a-kind, signed art pieces. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to replicate many of the items you find here.
